BUILD THREAD Project long time coming

Well, ten steps forward, eight back. I was able to reassemble the clutch pedal, clutch master cylinder and bracket, lines etc. Bled and bled and bled. Still barely have a clutch pedal. Even with the speed bleeder. Moved on to other things for the moment. Worked on the wiring. What a mess. Between the new stuff for the Terminator, the factory wiring, and what I've already added for the electric fans and a couple of other things it makes for a mess of spaghetti. I had ordered a junction block to use on the passenger side for the main feed from the battery from the rear, and to tie everything into up front. It is enormous. Can't use that, ordered a different one today. Installed the used 145 amp alternator. Hopefully it works for now. Bought a serpentine belt that was supposed to fit, it's too short. Bought new heater hoses but I'm waiting to install them on the heater core until I'm done with the wiring. Installed the air temp sensor in the intake tube. Dropped the gas tank and installed the fuel pump and sender assembly. Luckily that went mostly OK. P/S lines are all in, fluid is filled. Need one more fitting for the fuel lines and then the fuel system should be done minus pump wiring. Never accomplish as much as you want, but it's getting closer.

It’s a battle the first time around with this stuff.
You’re on the right track imo. Get it to power up, communicate, start, stay running, move and then clean everything up to your satisfaction.

Ive done about 8 EFI installs and this seems to be the easiest path. If you don’t start with a mess, then you paid someone else to install it lol.

The wiring is giving my OCD a fit, especially since I do it for a living. But I really didn't want to rewire the car. I think you're right, ill just leave a cluster and get it running, then figure out how I'm going to clean it up.

C'mon, man! What's the matter? Too many colors? I've seen your wire work: you got this. Paint them all blue or white if it makes you sleep better.

Good progress!

Same one I had before. LT1 F-body fans. Only change is I decided to dump the 3 core brass radiator and get a factory Camaro LT1 replacement. The LS1 Camaro guys replace theirs with the LT1 version because it's thicker, plus it has the retaining tabs or clips to hold the fans in place on the tanks.

How are you going to prime that engine, or are you going to prime (oil) it?
