Brand new wishes it was protected that good!
When I was working on the PS C pillar I was tapping down the long spot welded seam (which hadn't seen the light of day since the day it was built) and you should have seen the rust dust drifting out from between the welds. Alarming. Yeah, these cars weren't supposed to last this long... and I giggle at the guys paying top dollar for the low mileage survivors thinking they are flawless (there is so much hiding between the scenes... err... seams).

Donovan when you add once again to this amazing work, can you explain the charcoal gray you sprayed from front windshield to rear of upper door? I hate bothering you with questions but if you can give a sentence or two at the reasons I'm sure I'm not the only one who would appreciate it.
Two tone sir, there are renderings to show the proposed the final paint scheme. The scheme will be a nod to the H/O.
Door and car have been unmasked and the small parts starting to go back on. Today is all about transferring the internals from the old door to the new.
With any luck, I may be able to hang the new door by tomorrow night.

So what about the paint line inside the jam from white to gunmetal? Does that stay as is since you can't see it with the door closed? Looks great BTW!
