BUILD THREAD Project Olds Cool (Recognition!!)

Car looks great Donovan! It's been a long and at times trying journey but your determination to stick with it is admirable. As mentioned alot of people would have scrapped the car but you saved it and for that you should be proud. Your workmanship and attention to detail is outstanding! I can't wait to see it in paint!

I spy an 84 Cutlass across the street. Looks pretty decent. Next project?? 🙂

Ha! Not even close. Yes it’s an ‘84, but it’s a complete basketcase. You thought Olds Cool was pretty far gone, you should see this thing up close. The body is toast.

But I only paid $2 for it, and it runs and drives plus it’s got lots of good interior items. It will be parted out to anyone on here that needs stuff off it very shortly after I take what I need.

You know when ‘ol Rktpwrd says the body is toast, it really is done for!
😯

69HurstOlds, you won’t like my next project, I’ll be getting back on my beloved Juggernaut. 100% pure hotrod and heavily modified. Not much of anything left on it stock, pretty much the opposite of what you like and Project Olds Cool.

And yes Duke, there will be parts available. Just let me know what you need and I’ll see if they’re any good on it.

Awesome payoff Donovan. Looks like you and my dad both are about to have painted cars!

Why does everyone assume I don't like non-stock cars? I simply PREFER my own G-bodies to be stock.

I love hot rods, too, and I've done my share of wheels/engines/cams/headers/performance parts, etc.

It's just when it comes to my own G-bodies, stock is where it's going to be as much as possible.

It's about the package, and workmanship, desire, and final product. Quality comes in different forms.

Is it painted yet?! 😉
