I bolted on everything I have for the motor with the exception of the coils and coil brackets, intake manifold and accessories.

I will be bring my ride up to the shop soon to pull the motor out of it and clean up the engine bay.

Towed her to the shop then pressure washed the engine bay and started to disconnect cables, wires, pipes and hoses. I hope to have the engine removed this weekend then pressure wash the engine bay again to get all the oil and dirt build up. I'd like to clean and paint the engine bay to have her looking sweet with the swap.

Are you removing all the extremities to the engine? And what are you going to paint it with? Keep getting it done ✔

From what I understand I won't need any thing from the old engine on the swap. So the exhaust and driveshaft are getting removed too. I want to go with PPG Bronze Sand Metallic, the color of the CTS below.

I know this was for fuel vapor (lower red circle), it has a hose from a line that goes to the tank. Will I need this for the swap or do I add it to the pile of parts that I'm removing?

Lower 'can' shaped container is the Emissions Evap Charcoal cannister.
The ball shaped pod is the vacuum reserve cannister for the HVAC system controls.

Do you know if I should keep the charcoal cannister for the engine swap? I want to remove everything I won't use for the 5.3 and clean up the engine bay to prep for paint.

It’ll keep fumes away with a vented tank. You could relocate it or there are a few options out there to purchase.
