I really do agree it’s pricey but I’m from Montreal Quebec and labor does not come very cheap here ... I figure I can either do this myself or bring it to someone and have it done quicker to save labor $.

Just finding someone who wants to do this job is hard to find.

There has to be a shop around that welds truck chassis up there. for them to do this repair is cake.

When one of my Malibu's cracked I brought it to a truck shop Slipo Welding. they made that Malibu into a Mack truck for less than 200 buxx

Another thing to do is add the GN/T-Type plate to that part of the chassis.

Even GM knew that was an extremely weak spot!

I don't know how much power your putting down (or plan to) but looks like a great piece. I don't think the price is all that bad considering the double adjustable control arms com with it. I know I spent a few $$ on just the weld in, bolt on brackets. I also noticed you did have a sway bar which appear to connect to the control arms which doesn't help twist that much.

My car did 620HP at the wheels on the dyno.

Yes I have a sway bar but I intend to change it for a beefier one. I won’t really go to the strip that much but plans can change !

Sorry for my English I’m a fench guy from Montreal!

Thats pretty nice,

but for the money these guys are asking I could bring it to a chassis shop and have that made and installed
In my opinion, that looks like an awesome item for $600. Where I live, I couldn't find a shop to spit on my car for that amount...

where abouts do you live in Montreal?....I grew up in NDG and worked at Canadair and quit just after Bombardier bought it out

The Wild Rides fix sounds good for the HP you have. I would make sure you can install it with out lifting the body due to your cage. Trick Chassis makes a good drag rear sway control.

I live up north now near St-Sauveur. Wanted a big garage so needed a bigger lot !
