Can you drive safely whit out any internals in the rear drums? I know its an odd question but I know rear breaks only do about 15% of the breaking. So if all the parts, springs, pads where removed and you had just the cylinder would it all work (as is drive and break using fronts alone) or would the cylinder "pop" and all your break fluid leak out and ya be sol?

yah if you had no hard ware for the back breaks the cylinder would push out the plunger and fluid would go every where. either way no brakes.unless you were to cap off the brake lines wouldn't recommend it at all

take off the line going from the master cyl to the rear brakes and put a nail in to plug it off. this will give ya front brakes only, so take yer time.

the back brakes are important as they keep the car in line, try breaking with no back brakes in a corner and you'll see what I mean..and if you don't understand after that try it in the rain

if he's just going a short distance clamp the flex line for the rear brakes..

x2 vice grips work well
