for a few more $$ you can get a 9" set up for a G body, if you ever try to sell the rear end your 9" will retain it's value, with the 7.5 you'll lose even if you can sell it.

We have a kit to swap about any rear end in to the G Body platform. We even have a kit to do the F Body swap that you mentioned.

Thanks for all the advice! I dont have a lot of money left to totally redo the existing rear to make it posi. Think i found a used 10 holt A body rear that has posi 373 gears. Ill get engine and transmission put in and see what i can find or afford. Lol

1973–1977 A-body rear

Found this post on Mailburacing.com, anybody ever try it.http://www.maliburacing.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=44193from reading the post I think he suggests drilling a mounting hole further in, and that makes the rear fit. I checked and there are two small holes on the upper control arms.
