HELP Reasonable asking price?

If I were to sell my car, I'm not sure how much I could get out of it. Here are the details:

1987 Buick Regal T package non-turbo

-Buick 350
--rebuilt .030 over, T/A cam, T/A intake, T/A oiling mod, headers, well-tuned Holley carb w/ electric choke
--noisy valvetrain on driver side for unknown reason
--dual electric fans

-200-4R w/ Transgo shift kit

-3.73:1 gears
-Limited slip
-Moser 28 spline axles
-Trickflow girdle cover

-Jeep shaft
-PST steering linkages
-PST lower A-arm bushings
-Eibach front springs
-Hotchkis rear drop springs
-Viking double adjustable shocks
-1/2" taller upper and lower ball joints
-tubular upper A-arms
-UMI control arms w/ roto-joints
-UMI sway bars

-Blazer spindles & brakes

-bucket seats
-new carpet
-new headliner
-new weather stripping
-2 year old Kenwood stereo
-top dash plate removed for repairs
-Autometer tachometer
-Oil & Temp gauges

-All signals and lights working

-Needs paint but not rusty (I did a bad job and a fender doesn't match)
-Floors are excellent
-All rust removed during repaint
-Pinhole in driver's door due to old seam sealant

Many extras including 16 inch wheels and race slicks



I'd like to get $6,000 out of it, but would hopefully get at least $4,000. What are your thoughts?

if you can get the noise fixed with the Buick engine and all the extras I think the right buyer would go for $8,000. For a quick sale I think your price is about right

I think the valve train noise is going to scare a bunch of your potential buyers off.

Selling it I'd price it where you have it, then add the bonuses like the slicks are available for extra money. Someone looking at the car will offer you cash in the ranges you want "if you throw in the extras"... which you were willing to do anyways. Let them have the psychological win and close the deal.

I would ask more than that

Not saying the engine is bad but that's what I would say if I was looking at the car.

Basically buying a shell or semi roller with a noisy engine bad paint.

Not bashing the car never even seen it but that's what you are in for when people come to see it.
