Working on bedcover tail light ideas. Got a set from a 95-99 Mitsubishi eclipse, but it looks like I'll just have to custom make the lenses to get the size & shape I need. old plastic is too easy to crack when working with.
The actual lights are taller than the photoshop pic & I will make the sides less than half as long. Sides may have a similar profile to the 74 to 81' Camaro.

damn that bumper is looking good man! what about putting taillights in the bumper vents? i think that would look sleek!

I think he would probably get rear ended with tail lights that low then that bumper wouldn't look so sweet.

I actually do have lights up in the bumper vents, just hadn't had time to work on . Haven't decided on what grills to use in vents. Lower lights were mostly so I can drive with tailgate down & will be to have something for lights If I temporarily have cover off. Got bumped 5 times with only stock tail lights years ago (god bless the trailer hitch I had) . Don't worry, I'll have plenty of visual tail lighting. Likely will get Digitails sequential led lights.

Still playing with ideas for bedcover lights. I think the shape of the Lincoln mark viii lights is a little closer to what my custom bedcover lights will be. think the lights leaning forward & inwards will make the cover look better. Will do a bit of bedcover reshaping while I'm at it.

Was playing with red tape to visualize the lights on the actual vehicle. I will definitely raise the bedcover ends up a little to get rid of the droopy look it has from certain angles.

That would be pretty interesting if you can get it done. 😀
