Suck N Blow Monte

It doesn't support over 650 crankshaft right? Not enough for the current car but plausible for future builds.
Yes it does. I am not talking about the standard Sniper I am taking about the Super Sniper. Cost 200 more dollars. Comes in either 4 or 8 injectors. Big 2.5 map sensor. Boost ready right out of the box. It has more functions and inputs. I went with the 4 injector model, because my six will not see over 600 horsepower. The 8 injector model is rated up to 1200 horsepower and has been proven. You should read up on how far the Sniper has come in the last two years.

I was sick all weekend so I did not get any thing done really. I picked up an adapter and mounted my new knock sensor. I tested my knock gauge while tapping on a engine bolt and it was reading. So either my two wire knock sensor is bad or will not work with the newer ESC module. The new one wire sensor works though. I contacted Efi System Pro today to see if my Sniper has shipped yet. Apparently the lady I talked to a week ago was not the normal person that handles that stuff. She was filling in for some other girl. She went off of what Holley posted for when they should be available. Chris contacted me and said it would most likely be a couple weeks until any of the black ones would be available and there policy is to not give a date until they have them in stock. He offered to ship me a polished 4 injector one, or I could up grade to a black 8 injector one for 300 more bucks. After work I came home and stared at my engine. I decided to go with a polished 4 injector model. I should have it in a few days. That's it for now.

A little bling won't hurt.

I have a small update and big news! My Holley Sniper got dedeliver today.

I have been pittling around on the car doing small things. I got my throttle cable switched over to a longer one. Special thanks to Little Bowtie. He sent me one for the cost of shipping. Hell of a guy! Here is a picture of the longer one compaired to the stock one I had.

The other day I scraped rat shitt and hay off the top of the engine in my parts car. I removed the throttle cable bracket and cruise control actuator. Any one know what engine this ? The fan sroud said 3.8 I think, but it is not a Buick. Don't really care, just curious.

Tonight I cleaned up my Sniper and put it on. I put a little RTV on the gaskets facing my adapter plate. When I made the plate the process I used was a little crude. I am not sure it will seal perfect. The RTV gives me a little insurance I guess.

It looks good on my engine. I will say the finish on it up close is not show quality, but really nice driver quality. With all the crap on I don't think it would matter much though. Now the fun part. Lots of wiring and trying to make everything work. I have a question for you guys. (More for the GN guys) I have a o2 sensor bung in my down pipe and one in my header right before the turbo. I need to put one in for the Sniper and one for my Wideband gauge. I figure the one in my down pipe will be the best spot? I was thinking I probably should use the down pipe one for the Sniper and the header one for my gauge. What do you guys think? I would put an other one in my down pipe, but it is ceramic coated. Do not want to mess my coating up. I have an other question. Do you think the 3/8 line will be big enough for the fuel fead line, and the 5/16 line for a return? Or should I plumb a bigger fead line? Stay tuned I have an other box of stuff coming this week. Thanks for following a long.

parts engine is a 229 chevy. Also a 3.8.

My carb hat came today with my hoses and t bolt clamps. So I worked on the car a little bit. I got the intake side all mocked up and figured out.

The carb hat is a Spectre. It is a lot nicer than I thought it would be. It is polished cast aluminum. A shame it is going to be painted satin black ! I have a little fab work to do and then a lot of wiring. The engine compartment sure is getting crouded and busy looking. No one has any thoughts on my questions?
