When I talked to Holley they have not had any issues with this happenings, so they said. Chris from EFI System Pro's never heard of it before either. If your friend hooks the yellow points wire up to a electronic ignition it will fry the ECU! There is plenty of warning for that though.

Just seen him, he is a teacher at Automotive High School here in Brooklyn.

So hopefully he know what he is doing

Holley sent him a new unit without even requesting the old one back should be here tomorrow.

The response he got fro Holley was as if they knew about the issue,

But If he did screw it up I guess the old saying is true........

I have been chipping away at the small stuff lately. I have the fuel sending unit in and the tank. I got my *ss kicked by the tank straps. Took me a hour to get them back on. My sending unit had a three pin Weatherpack connector on it, so I wired the chassis wires to a female one. Went to plug it in, and it would not fit. Apparently GM uses there own connectors. So I unpinned the sending unit connector and repinned it in a normal Weatherpack connector. I ran my new fuel line. I came up short on hose and needed more ends so I ordered those. They came today. I found 20 feet of hose is just long enough to go from the tank to the intake, not much extra. I also found the Summit brand AN fittings work better than the Jegs brand. I had to take the factory wind deflector off the core support. It was blocking the intercooler scoop. I also received a package I should not have today. When I opened the box it was a black Holley Super Sniper. The order I put in for that was cancelled and changed to the polished one. Some how the factory screwed up. I did take it out of the box and see what it looked like.

I emailed Chris from EFI system pro's and let him know. I will see what he has to say about it. Hopefully I get to keep it, but most likely I will have to send one back. I might keep the black one and send the polished one back. I like the black one better and my wife likes the polished one better. What do you guys think?

Looks good Zach!
I know how the small stuff can kick your *ss, just be patient and persevere as best you can.
You’re making great progress, stay with it, you’re so close!

My vote is to go with the black one, that’s what you originally wanted anyways. I’d use it instead providing you haven’t done anything to prevent you from sending the polished one back.

Didn't really have a chance to look back, still haven't got to my Sniper install is it the regular snipers that are having the problem? Because one thing is for sure with my luck if it is going to be a bad one it will be mine.

Well the vender knew about the delivery before they read my email to them. Wait on if I can swap to the black one or not. I like the black better I think, but not a big deal though. The problem with the fuel tank straps was, I was not in the right frame of mind.
Happy wife, happy life. It's looking really good for burnouts at the Memorial Day picnic!
Don't think I will get that far this weekend, but I am going to get some high octane gas tonight just in case.

I am not sure. Mine is the Super Sniper. Holley said I was the first with that problem. You will know when you power it up! Piece of cake to put on though.
Run it. Let's go. Do it.
Working on it! My wife and kids get in my way some times.
