This is an example of a great build thread. You're giving us the bad along with the good and that will be immeasurable help for the next guy.
I just love this car.

I need to figure out how to log. The Holley will do that, I just have not tried it yet. I am not going by the knock gauge full heartedly, it is just a precaution. I am not going to dump them though. Not a good idea with a Turbo Six.Love everything about your build BUT log everything you do/read all the logs, dump the AFR gauge, and forget about the knock sensor.
I am going to try one of these I think. I need a mild steel base too, toI had an HKS SSQV BOV on my Buick, worked great. You can get fake one from China through eBay - should work fine. I just ordered a fake Tial 50mm BOV from China for my Monte build.

Mmm... purple. It comes with a heavy and a light spring. The HKS unit is externally adjustable.
Thank you kind sir. The reason I started this thread is for you guys not my self. Glad you enjoy it. P.S. I am very jealous of your new house. This is an example of a great build thread. You're giving us the bad along with the good and that will be immeasurable help for the next guy.

You would think that, but it is not the case yet. It does not build boost fast enough for that yet. Off the line it is a guttless 3.8 after it is rolling it gets up and goes like a hot 355. Going down the highway 55 and stomp into it and it is a rocket. Like passing a car I will hit 80 before I am around that car from 55. That is fun! A little stall in the converter would really help and if my transmission would shift right. Sorry no smoke shows yet.I bet that 20psi would fry some bacon. Unless, 3.42s come into play?
