I put an MS2 into a guy's 3rd Gen Firebird with a Procharger and Accel Ram intake. We can all talk LS and big power, but that L98 at 10 psi was pretty much undriveable at WOT with street tires. Kinda the point I was driving at in my previous question to Zach - do you really need more than 10 psi for a super cool street driver that isn't a track time bragger? And he could throw a manual or electronic boost controller onto it pretty easy as well.

To each his own - damn boost - it's a drug lol!

I think you know the answer to your questions? I will answer though for the people that have not experienced an engine on boost. A decent tuned engine runs better on 10 psi of boost than a engine with 17 psi of boost that is off on the tune. So my car runs and performs really good at 7-10 psi, but doesn't do much for my adrenaline rush. Once you start playing with boost pressure, you keep wanting more, but it gets to the point where it is not optical any more. The more boost, the better the tune and supporting parts need to be. Look at the guys on here that have had to replace broken parts because of the addiction.

Update time! I tightened up my waist gate rod, changed my transmission oil and filter, and added a new toy. The transmission has been leaking for a while and recently has gotten worse. I think it is the pan gasket. By the looks of the filter and the oil that came out. My transmission is on its way out.

There was quite a bit of metallic in it with some small shards of metal. I never expected the original transmission to last this long. I added a new toy I have had for a while.

It is a boost activated dump. It opens up around 10 psi. It is kind of fun. Nice and quiet until the boost comes on and then it bellars. I have the boost back up to 17 psi now. It comes in fast and hard now. A lot more fun. Yesterday I drove the car to work and after work I washed it and took it to a car show.

It is a free drive in show. They had probably a 100 cars show up. I like these shows because it is relaxed, little bit of everything, and you come and go as you please. And almost all the cars are driven on a regular basis. Here is some cars that caught my eye.

My brother drove a Green car just like this one in high school.

There was plenty of the usual high dollar muscle cars and Corvettes, but I don't get excited about that stuff.

Death Trap? C'mon Zach, that's what the cage is in there for. You can always pick out the drift cars because the corner/side panels are never matching colors lol.

Agreed about the trans - ouch - better be on the lookout for another.
