It disturbs me that they assume electric is the only way to make vehicles carbon neutral. Because for general use it hardly seems the most practical means available, right now and for the foreseeable future. If they were in the aircraft business they might look at it a little differently. But then, this is Wall Street thinking.

They've been building one, ONE, Nuke plant in GA. Not only is it currently around double original cost, it's decades late and not nearly ready to come online.
And the lines/transmission towers, they all have so much excess capacity waiting to carry more juice... no?
All electrical concerns will be resolved when the development of the gigawatt solar collection unit that fits on top of you ball cap. As long as it’s not a cloudy day.
There is a Plug in station for charging your electric car near where I work in the city. It's diesel powered .

It says that GM is going to incorporate a complete electric fleet into their, GM's, corporate vehicle fleet.Same with trucks. It disturbs me that the term 'carbon neutral' has been mis-used to imply that all gasoline/diesel powered anything will be elimintated - because that's not what 'carbon neutral' means.

Here's a direct quote from Barra:

She wrote that on her linked-in. So, if you know a way to have a zero emissions gasoline powered vehicle, do tell.
There's hundreds of articles with DIRECT QUOTES from GM that say EXACTLY that gm is phasing out the internal combustion engine.
What else does that mean to you?
