And the lines/transmission towers, they all have so much excess capacity waiting to carry more juice... no?
And lest we forget, here in California, PG&E power lines caused some of the worst "wildfires."

(I'm starting to feel like a dog chasing my own tail .... )

All electrical concerns will be resolved when the development of the gigawatt solar collection unit that fits on top of you ball cap. As long as it’s not a cloudy day.
Here's the solution to the keeping everything charged. Doc Brown got it right when he was in 2015.

You'll known mine worked and got me back to 1980 when an unspecified collector releases a barn full of hemi aar cudas and superbirds on the market at auction.

Man. To buy those things up for pennies on the dollar... I'd have a barn full of gbodies too and everything else. Plus I'd get to relive better years than the garbage we've had since the mid-2000s when everything went downhill

You know Mr. Fusion isn't the only answer to that.

It's not that this change is happening. It's the logic that's driving it. Remember in the 70s when emissions ruined performance? Look at us now. I've long wondered what would bring down this age of muscle cars. Now I know. Adapt or die, I get it. But every step of the way it gets more expensive to do so, and that's not cool. On the other hand it must, also not cool.

When I was kid back in Chicago, early 50's, there were electric trolley cars. We lived about three blocks from the car barn. I was allowed to wander over there and watch the men oil and polish the cars to a gleaming brilliance that mesmerized me. They strung a grid of electric wires from poles and the cars had long contact arms that reached up to the wires. They were quiet and efficient. I guess the electric wire maintenance was high because by the 60's they were replaced by smelly dirty diesel buses. Yuk. Now electric trolley cars are coming back. When I was in Buffalo they had them. In Nurnburg Germany the Strassenbahn went everywhere for 10 pfennigs. Just like Chicago. Smart. I think NY had them too but I can't remember them.
