A friend of mine who races circle track has his dad as a mechanic who is a genius when it comes to a Ford engine. All the techs at the tracks familiar with SBC but are lost when it comes to a SBF so they never get caught with their tricks

Dollar for dollar, and the options you get with it, it pained me to admit the mustang was/is the best buy going.

End of year incentives, costco discount on top, and I bought mine with every option except the glass roof and navigation - premium pkg, comfort pkg, pony pkg, at, performance pkg, mca grille treatment, etc for 22k out the door. Was around 40k on sticker. Been very, very happy with it.

no pic, but first for I owned was a 79 mustang-biggest pos I ever owned...
firstford truck=79 f100 -beautiful looking truck, lots of issues...
my DD-09 F150 STX- would get rid of my g-bodies before this thing!
wife's DD= 08 mustang 6 cyl w/deluxe pckg.. (basically a GT with a 6 cyl) bought new, and no issues whatsoever
and a couple of explorers bought on the cheap...

Probably not without a $10K trade-in.

My Premium '13 GT was $32K with a $38K sticker. I can't imagine they would have sold it to me for $22K with three $45K - $49K (before dealer markup) Boss 302's sitting in the showroom.

😎 shhh... he's calculating and "International Watch" list. Hehe wait till they try and get on an airplane.
They will get stuffed in a little room for an hour then some huge dude will walk in and without saying a word drop a bottle of lube and a box of rubber gloves on the table and walk back out.
That will make you think of everything you have done in life to get yourself into that situation.

I drove a 2014(?) 5.0 from Hertz - pulled the plugs out of the interior noise tube at my hotel. Gotta love the artificial engine sounds.

Actually I liked the car overall - but, it doesn't do burnouts well.
