Oh, I also changed the moltov cocktail glass fuel filter to a metal solid one... it had started leaking from the fitting. Pics to come
Looking good man! Progress is progress! There's alot of productivity across the forum this week....must be the weather, or everybody is feeding off one another!
It's actually been torrential downpours nonstop for the last week for me. We were experiencing pretty extreme drought, now everything is flooded. The consistent progress seen on the forum lateley has definitely been a big motivator.
Finally got back innto the carb and changed the power valve. Blew the block out with some air, wd40'd, cleaned up some residual gasket material and put a 3.5 valve in. Now my car actually idles about 800- 900 and 600- 700 in D instead of 1500 and wanting to jerk and stall in gear. Motor sounds better than ever. Im ecstatic! Opened up my air/idle screws a half turn and backed the idle adjustment way out.
