rccktmn2 said:I sat in a seminar from GM a few months ago on the new Duramax, about halfway through the topic kinda changed to oil and GM recommends Mobil 1 full synthetic for everything, in fact a lot of new cars are coming with Mobil 1 0w30 and a standard 7500 mile change intervals. I switched to Mobil 1 in my truck and noticed the cold start lifter tick went away, currently I run Pennzoil 10w30 in the big block with a fram and the same in the 307.
