A quadrajet to learn how to rebuild but probably just to disassemble and never be put back together lol

Victor, get Cliff Ruggles or Doug Roe’s books, read and study them closely, then dive right in!
They’re not so complicated and mysterious once you become familiar with all the components, circuits, and their functions.

I’ve had mine apart and back together again at least 6 or 7 times now, even just finished modifying the heck out of the idle circuit, and they’re not so bad.
Hell, if I can do it I’m positive you can!

Thanks man! Your thread is what actually motivated me. I'm going to look into the books you mentioned they sound like some good reading.

Great job on your carb. I'm glad it all worked out for you..i can't wait to get my car back. I'm getting antsy not doing anything car related on my time off! Hopeful getting my hands dirty learning a new skill will be a quick fix I feel like I'm car detoxing lol

Some Brian Tooley 0.660” lift springs for the LS.

Duke, when my machine shop installed them on the heads they said they're excellent quality. They've yet to have a need to shim or make adjustments. Good to see some KY business going north of the border!

Not to mention at my door in 4 days. I think they are gonna get some more of my money.

Recently bought a GP Bar, 307 fan shroud, pass. tail light, header panel, dash trim, and front bumper. Makin a list of what it needs currently.

i bought a radio install kit,for ten bucks it's a surprisingly pretty decent product.if you're installing a single din behind the 82-87 style face plate check out American International GMK-432 - mounting kit.it even comes with the brackets if you don't have any to start out with like me.
