What did you buy for your G body today? [2019]

Been looking at wideband, and finally took the advice from Motorheadmike to just buy once/cry once on one. I ordered an Innovate SCG-1 which is a wideband, shift light, and boost controller.
No, I didn't secretly buy a turbo yet, but planning ahead will save me money down the road. This gauge is legit, had all kinds of functions, and changeable bezels which will help it blend in with the Autometers.
Also got my door panel plastic and insulation in from Dixie resto...they're quick! I have a big azz air filter and some tubing on the way too, gonna be busy for a bit.

In 2018 I bought LED headlights. They are very bright but don't have a very defined beam. I know they blind oncoming traffic on low beam and high beams are basically useless unless I am the only car on the road. I ordered smoked glass H4 Euro headlights. BONUS. The headlights came with H4 high beams. Don't remember reading they came with bulbs. I also ordered Beamtech LED, 4000 lumen, CSP 2 sided chip. The also have the blue city lights. 1st pic is the old lights being replaced.IMG_20200220_170247.jpgIMG_20200220_170121.jpgIMG_20200220_170839.jpg

I wonder why this thread hasn't been cut up yet... like the "WDYD" thread now that it's 3 months into 2020.

Anywho, bought the last little bit of stuff i need for my '71 350 I can't scrounge from my exploded '70 350. Summit finally ****in refunded me so I bought double that amount in stuff from TA lol.

.499 lift, 284/288 duration cam, pickup tube (needs the earlier 9/16 or whatever tube, all parts store tubes are later 5/8, which is bigger than the block hole), nifty 350-4 HI-COMPRESSION air cleaner decal, and their heavy duty rockers. Stamped steel, but thicker shafts. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Everything else I'd need:
Flexplate
Plug wires
balancer
timing cover/oil pump (after cleaning, inspection)
distributor
water pump
intake/carb

will be donated from my blown up 350. 😀
By the end of next month it'll be running. kinda.

Nothing says 'quality' like EMUSA on top of your intercooler. Hopefully I don't catch Coronavirus from it.

Either way, I'll be smiling!!!

Found another hen's tooth. Stumbled upon an original-style plastic/metal water cut-off valve as found on late A/early G-body Olds engines. P/N 554401. They later went to the banjo head style for everything. Banjo is probably a better design, but I want to stay with the factory-look.
