Never knew they made an RTV for gear oil. Must be why mine leaked!Bought some goods for the 8.5. Figure it I'm gonna do it here might as well have the right tool. The fluid is what Eaton recommended the other day.View attachment 143697View attachment 143698
That's why mine seeps now as it is. At the least I'll change the cover to the aluminum moser, but I'm still planning on taking out the powertrax locker and installing the moser axles and truetrac diff. It will be a huge peace of mind for me since I had a bent axle issue years back.Never knew they made an RTV for gear oil. Must be why mine leaked!
Awesome find. I got those Holley mount brackets from my wife for Christmas. I am gearing up to buy that pan as well.Second Holley LS swap setup, used from some poor soul who was abandoning a project.
Just need one or two more pieces.....

Good idea. I have a box full of stock truck coils, and misc sensors as backups.Late post
Went to it he local LKQ. I’ve wanting to get some stock truck coils, I don’t trust these China eBay coils. I feel they are also part of the reason my car run like crap. Also picked up a 4 port steam vent and stock truck intake bolts as I was missing mine.
