I paid nearly $500 landed for this flimsy piece of plastic.

Welcome to building a car in Canadia. C’mon up, we got lotsa room.
😏
Think I'll keep the riots and burning burn down country.
Can't imagine asking the wife for anything for the car with those prices💀.

I never worried about the switch for the choke, I wired the choke to be hot when the key is in run position and unless I was working on something the key was never left in run position and the only reason for that switch was to prevent the timed process of releasing the choke.
I always liked the choke switch, because its a good place to switch an electric fuel pump on a carbureted car. No more gremlin banging on the frame when the key is on.

That being said, I converted mine over to a 1990 Chevy truck oil pressure switch that had a choke switch built in. Cleans the back of the motor up quite a bit.

I was at my favorite salvage yard today to see if the only G body they have still had the wiring for the power windows cause both connections on mine have wires broken off the connector. I spotted an older Cadillac, 80's version, and notice the window switches were the one I have been hunting for. The wires were in great shape but the passenger door was gone so I grabbed the switch and wiring from the rear door. The wires from the rear door are different colors compared to the front left but that is easy to figure out. I was missing a door lock switch for the GP so I got that too, it all cost me $20...

The Moog 5409 springs just arrived. I don't know how Rockauto gets stuff delivered so fast. I ordered on Monday the 29th and they arrived today from Fresno, CA. For the Moog 5413 springs I have in there now I paid close to $180 to a local shop, the 5409 cost me $146 C to the door. No one has stock in Canada for the 5409.
