Went out to the U-Pull and got a new A/C vacuum harness, the correct style cigarette lighter and a harness end for the A/C blower that the previous owner cut off. Blower motor works now. Also picked up some Celebrity headlights as id eventually like to swap these into the Monte Carlo. Any and all information and/or links to threads detailing this swap would be very appreciated.

Also got this cover piece. I pulled the AC harness from a 79 Cutlass and this was under the dash behind the glove box. Figured I could make it work in the Monte perhaps. I like the small stuff that cleans up the look, especially if it’s already an OEM part. If it won’t work, nothing lost.

All the talk of dealer badges got me googling the dealership that my car came from, and I happened across this gem on eBay.

I bought it now, and oddly enough it is coming from 775 miles away in Auburn, PA. Would love to know the story of how it got there...

Got a trunk floor out if a '79 Regal at Millerstown pick a part that was way better than expected with the help of UC645 & joesregalproject. Joe is just an animal with a saw, had no mercy for those Bondo quarters. He has pics of the end results. Might have to redo the mounts but it's way better than what I got.

I gotta call from my stepsons dad. He wanted to sell those zq8 wheels from tjis thread.
I obliged. 260$ for 4 clean non painted rims and center caps. And 2 spares that have been painted. His dad had a heart attack and passed away last week. He inherited a 30s hudson? Rat rod with a 305 w/ zoomies, doors and trunk lid made from 55 gallon drums and a 90s formula hood cut down to fit and another set of zq8 wheels on it. We were on our way to Kitley the local oval/figure 8 track. It was sold out 1 hr before we got there. So now were takin the boys to a dirt track 50 miles away. Its the first dirt track for the kids.Itll be bathtime real soon:popcorn:
