I think it's more of a personal preference honestly. I ran MSD super conductors for years with never an issue, but have USA made Taylor wires on the LS.
My suggestion is no longer made. Mallory was always my go to wire. The sets I used were always made in USA. But MSD did away with alot of the "internal" competition with Mallory products when the bought them off Mr. Gasket.
For the first time, today, I first heard that plug wires need resistance to produce a longer spark duration. Ohm's Law says less resistance is mo betta! I bought Taylor 8.2s rated at 40 or 50ohms/ft whereas MSD are 350 or so.
I bought a pair of Creeper 3000s so I can be extra legit when I drive my Cutlass. Brown dog looks as impressed as my wife did.
Now you just need a pair of black OJ Isotoners like ya boy in the add! Dude is fresh lmao!
ordered a fancy-pants open ended spark plug socket to try and make my life a little bit easier.we'll see.if not it'll get lost in the depths of the tool box.
And happy to say still MADE IN USA!!!!!!!!
One downside to those they twist the trunk hinge arms & can cause the bolts washers to cut into the trunk lid. Need something to be a buffer between the two.
