I have installed factory type bulbs in backwards, so they can go in backwards FYI
Hmmm. Well, just checked and they were installed correct. Couldn't get them to push and twist the opposite way. My flashers have the ground wires on them which are hooked up and grounds are clean and good. Worst case scenario I go back to incandescents, I just really like the LED's, and I have the LED board installed in my 3rd brake light too which works fine.

Must be nice, dealing with some issues on my custom 3rd brake light. Have to agree that LED's are usually worth the aggrevation sine they are so much nicer to look at.

You may have to run dedicated grounds for the side marker because the fronts pull ground through the turn signals. That's why they alternate opposite.
Sure enough, only one measly ground for the whole taillight section harness! I also read that the issue could be in the indicator lamp circuit. I have LED indicators on my custom cluster and could be an issue.

All lighting in rear share the same ground point. Running dedicated grounds will not change anything unless a shared ground is bad or the ground point itself is bad.
Hed a similar issue with stock lamps on my ElCo, the common ground point was bad and it was back feeding thru the other circuits

The dash indicators are just tied off the front turns. Pull all the 194 bulbs and see if everything works right on just the 1157s, put the 194s in the back, check it, then put the 194s in the front or vice versa. Isolate the problem as best you can. I got money on the front side markers.
Side note: there is a splice near the horn where the front light grounds come together from 6 to 1 18ga. Cut the splice off, and upgrade the ground to 12 or 10ga. It'll help the headlights.

Yep, I'll have to tinker with it this afternoon. I ran out and pulled the front side markers and it didn't change a thing. Thanks for the tips guys.

Looks like we were all wrong lol! The problem ended up being the older style 1157 I had in the taillights from years back. I never messed with it, was in process of doing bodywork and paint. Those must not have the flasher capability in them and was using the other bulbs to short out. I pulled all 194 bulbs but left old and new LED 1157's and same issue. Put regular 194's in the license plate, rear and front side marker with same results. Pulled new 1157's with same results. Pulled old 1157's and ding all lights functioned as intended. Started installing 194 LED's back in one pair at a time and testing to see. All light function as designed and the front side markers flash with the turns which I think is cool. Anyways, problem solved, gotta go pickup another pair of new 1157's for the tails, then get proper front turn bulbs because those are old style LED too.
