What did you buy for your G body today? [2023]

I read pro-flo and thought it was going to be one of those triangular foam Edelbrock air cleaners...
Ha! The Edible Air Filter

Ended up having to have them ship a summit kickdown cable since they shipped it from texas and wouldn't be here in time for the install

Grand Prix needed some brake work. I bought a flaring tool kit, brake line kit, and master cylinder. Had to drive to an auto zone about 25 miles away for the master cylinder (no one had it locally).

Picked up a tag mount. I still need the bumper filler pieces unless I go to fiberglass bumpers, which are cheaper. IMG_20231207_105455714.jpg

a distribution manifold for <nitrous>?
an Eaton supercharger mounted on a <?>
a cold air intake system

to paraphrase the song, "these are a few of my favorite things"
Hahaha, the distribution block is for vacuum since it has 2 ports but I need more. Still hoping to one day put a Maggie on the GTO

Junk yard finally got a G Body in for the first time in a long time. 1980 Cutlass. It just dropped yesterday and I ran down there after work today. Bucket seat and console car. SCORE? Negative. Car was INFESTED with spiders. And when I did get brave enough to stick my hand down and try to remove the destroyed front seats, rust crumbled brackets were all I found. Rust in AZ is rare, this must have been sitting somewhere gross for a very long time. The seats and console were trash anyways but I did want the brackets, oh well. I did get the one good lower door panel and all the hardware, extra pigtails for the lock switches, relay for the locks, lower door seals with good rubber, and to my surprise a kick panel litter basket. I’ll clean it up and hold on to it for when I end up swapping my engine for something without the computer. My car didn’t come with those lower seals either which I didn’t even know existed. The rubber is still surprisingly pliable. Everything else worthwhile on that car was either destroyed, covered in spiders or gone already.

Ordered my warranty replacement QR power steering box and a new high pressure line to go with it on Monday. It should be here any day.

Ended up buying a Tracphone so it could be the gauge for the Edlebrock, cheapest way I could find to do a dedicated gauge. Since my old phone was too old and they stopped allowing it to connect to the play store or get updates in general........ such BS
