What did you do at work today?

Shortened the lifespan of one of these.

I finally got back on the frame machine today I've been doing a slew of other people's screw ups and fixing A/C problems so I took it out on that Honda.

It's going to receive a lot of hostilities because they're making me fix it with a used clip

Oh joy butcher and mig
Damn you do some heavy hits. They don’t get into them like that by me. Always wanted to be a frame guy. Unfortunately after a year of prepping the painter walked out and I went it. 19 years later still painting. At least I get to keep my tools at home instead of the shop.

So, here I am, once again, working with the drilling crew, while we start another shaft for a support column. You can not see from here, but the starter can is deep enough to add the next can. The first 10-12 loads are usually dry dirt, which is always nice. After that, they hook up the water hose and pump into the shaft. That is messy, and the only thing I don't like about this.

Rather than post a second entry today, I may possibly add on to this one later, or not, don't know yet. I think the.above photo is a bit dark, may take another later.
OK, i did get a little better photo when they were ready to add the third can.

Your better off I'm 30ish years in my back is shot everything hurts and I'm tired. I'm not complaining I just think I should have stayed in the booth lol yeah I do some hard hits just think that one won't even have a Carfax....... The customer had no insurance and there paying cash!! It's a 2020 Honda Accord and if memory serves me right it only has like 1500 miles so far the only new parts it's getting are a headliner and some passenger side seat parts.

Cash or credit card? Haha. We had a guy with a brand new maxima a few years ago. He wiped out the whole passenger side. We fixed it then he did it again a few months later. That time he paid cash to keep from losing insurance. Big money to replace the whole right side of a car with new parts.

It's amazing how often it happens. Just think what it would have costed to fix that Honda Accord without buying a loaded clip.
