Purchased an aluminum driveshaft from the junkyard for $39... Not sure of the exact vehicle it came out of but its a ford driveshaft that was in the truck section. Getting it cut down, balanced, with new joints later this week.

Picked up my aluminum driveshaft from getting shortened and balanced and installed it.... Works perfect!!!!

Finally replaced the valve stem seals in the Bonneville.
No more blue clouds on start-up. Yay!

FINALLY GOT MY NEW DASH CLUSTER, INSTALL A COUPLE OF THE NEW MARSHAL GAUGES. GOT THE SPEEDO AND RPM IN . LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK.

Just out of curiosity, what'd the Viper run?

I played a little with a Pontiac G8, they are quick cars but he was kinda shocked when he found out I had a stick..... 😀

Today my friend Mathieu and I worked on the suspension of my 1984 Cutlass.

We replaced the front sway bar with a 1.25" GN sway bar.

Replaced the rear coil springs with OEM GN + Delco/Blisten shocks.

That was quite a long evening. We struggle for a LONG time on a rear shock bolt. Stuck. Stuckstuckstuck.

The car has a strange behaviour now -- very firm in the back and soft in the front; it's like driving two different cars at the same time. The front of the car will bounce a few times over a bump on the road while the rear end is a LOT more stable.

Front coils are next.
