I love to fish but cant stand the taste of them.
That was my Grandson too until he caught his first flounder. I made him eat it and he never looked back. Now he'd rather eat fish than candy. SSN696, that's just a big ol' bad *ss NYC Bass, and they are a pushover compared to a big Bluefish. Mr. Sony, that is just one sweet looking Buick. It's almost too pretty to run. Watch out for the distributor in front right next to the fan. Easy to get clipped.

Got the right oil gauge fittings for the side of the block and got two nipples to run a rubber fuel line. Might get a right angle nipple for the carb soon.

Please don't run a rubber fuel line. That motor is too beautiful to risk roasting because of a stupid rubber hose. Steel lines are available, and if not for the Buick 350, then a Pontiac 301 or 400 will fit, even if it needs a bit of adapting. Worst case, you buy some 3/8" line and make your own.

Got all that fun stuff in the mail that I listed. It's raining here right now, but tomorrow it's supposed to be nice. Gonna try and break 'er in tomorrow.

It's only temporary. But yeah, not the ideal situation, but with the way the water neck is there is almost no other option unless I find one that fits that's at a different angle. There is no more than an inch or so of space between the carb inlet and the water neck. It's just temporary, and I have the line at least a half inch at minumum from any metal parts that get hot. I can't find a place that sells just like 3 or 4 feet of 3/8 tubing and I don't really want to spend money I don't have at the this time for tools I'll use maybe three times. Thanks for your concern though. She is purdy iddn't she? The color is Torque 'N Teal. I wanted something with a bit more green to it than GM blue.

My main concern is the fact that the fuel line runs so close to the distributor. Even fumes can be ignited by accident. Did you check an auto store for 3/8" brake line? They usually have various lengths on hand and they will be double flared to boot. By the way a double flaring tool is not very expensive and will come in handy. It's nice being able to make up your own lines or repair sections. I still say keep looking. Check this out- http://www.summitracing.com/parts/rsd-qpc7701/applications/make/buick

I second Bonnewagon opinion. Rubber to get it rolling but look at making up a steel line ( or the cool ones from summit ) in the near future. It would be easier if you had a SBC qjet on it that has the inlet facing the fender and not the rad

Yeah, it would. But I chose one from a Buick 350 so it'd already be calibrated, then had it done up by Everyday Performance. I'll look for some brake line tomorrow, but until then I think rubber with some shielding around it will be fine enough at least to brake it in. Also, got that ol dirty V6 and 200 metric out of the way along with all the ATF lol. Three bags of kitty litter and 1600PSI of water later, it's gone. As well as the engine compartment being pressure washed. Gonna let it dry over night (10:30pm here right now) and gonna pick back up in the morning as well as get a new set of motor mounts because why not.
