What did you do to your G-Body today? [2011-2018]

I totally agree with changing those motor mounts while the engine is out but it isn't much fun to do with the lower control arm in place. It's very difficult to get on the backups.

Hey, wasn't that a Buick V-6 in there? The fuel line should be similar if not the same. Also as per your other topic, I think the 3.8 AC stuff "should" bolt right up to to the 350 depending on what year you have. A 3.8 is really just a 350 minus two cylinders.

Finally finished the GN axle modifications. After 14 months, the coupe is on four tires again. Finished the disc brake installation, bent new brake lines and bolted the axle in place. (Oh, how I hate flaring brake lines.) Put in spherical bushings from Speedway, per a Forum recommendation to try to reduce the chance of bind-up with the old-school Hotchkis control arms.
The shock relocation brackets I made from the Forum drawing put the bolt heads almost touching. A millimeter of clearance. Set the bracket angle, and drilled a roll pin hole to keep each one oriented, per the instructions.
Now I need to shorten the driveshaft an inch to account for the swap to the GN axle. I might just get a whole new one made. If so, I'll have for sale a driveshaft with new U-joints for a T-5, 200-4R or 700-R4 Malibu conversion...

Just getting my 1985 Regal back on the road. The last few weeks I have put all new belts on, new battery, new shocks, fixed passenger side window roll-up, and took headliner out, waiting for new one to arrive. I have new bumper fillers, but not going to install them until I get it painted. This was my Moms car. She passed away a few months ago. Car has been setting for about five years. Gonna take a while to get her fixed up, got one little dent in passenger door I have to get fixed, but can't wait to finish.

First time in 5 years, the shitty lil 305 roared....well more like popped back to life. There is a back story to this but I'll not bore with all that. Suffice to say, I'm just glad the little bugger is going to move my car for me again.
Tired of having to push it everywhere:rant:

Albuquerque Driveshaft did this one 10 years ago. They seem to still in business. Its twin brother has been behind a T-5 and 700-R4.
