Spend all morning at the Junkyard looking for non rusty suspension parts for my lifted Miata project. I'm Leaning not to put a lift kit on a Miata. Hope to have it wrapped up in the next couple weeks.

The Junkyard got a new Grand Cherokee yesterday, so I pulled the steering Shaft.

I removed the carb and drained the coolant and got the intake ready to remove. I opened up my T5 WC that locked up on me last summer and there was nothing I could find wrong with the transmission. All the gears, sincros and forks were in great shape so I can't figure out what happened last year. .

Spring cleaned the shop getting ready for the final push back to actually driving again . . .

So clean I should have taken pics but it's just a garage floor for christ sakes. Need some pics of a "completed" turn and stop build.

During lunch I took my carburator apart and my use of gas with no ethanol sure made a difference. The gas had evaporated sitting on the car over the winter months and there no residue anywhere in the carburator...I have to lean it out just a bit so I was planning on changing the rods but they are 55P so once I measure the jets I'll probably leave the rods and go down in size with the jets

had 72 jets in the carburetor so I just ordered 71 and they'll be in Wednesday....🙂
