Installing my Pypes dual exhaust system, but this Saturday went and cut the roof and tailgate frame off of an 80 Cutlass Cruiser. Now I can start transforming my Elco into a NOMAD. Found 1/4 windows listed on car-part.com that I'm going to use.Already made my all steel Stinger hood, and changed the door handles to 98 Chevy Silverado flush mounts that sanded smooth for paint. I like doing DIFFERENT. The last project I did was a 300+HP 4.3 V-6 with a narrowed Camaro rear-end in a 78 Chevy Chevette. 5-lug custom discs in front, panelled the 1/4 windows like a sedan delivery. Made a fiberglass Stinger hood and a fiberglass dashboard for alot more new gauges.Made a console for the 5 speed Hurst shifter. Eliminated the rear seat and built frame work to put in a wood pick up style floor with stainless steel strips. Even installed power windows.

File fitted all the rings for my new engine, got all the rings on the pistons, ready to install, broke down and bought myself a tapered piston installer, i use them at my work, and love them, but never had them for myself, since i now have 2 engines with a 4.500" bore it'll come in handy, Also got the cam endplay set. im ready to pop a piston in there and degree it..

Roll cage and some sheet metal fabbing at this point
Even if you go that route you need to brace the inner structure of the body or you will get cracks in the exterior sheet metal of the car and once it's painted you don't want that! The package tray and back brace do serve a purpose
