^ I mean you couldn't have duplicated them to exacting tolerances on a machine any better . . .

Actually, I stare long enough at those 3 gasket outlines and I can see Jesus on a piece of toast!

Yeah, I know, I'm gonna burn . . .
Garth, that's precision manufacturing there man !!!!

As you can tell, I wasn't worried about them looking identical, they are not visible once installed and will serve their purpose just fine. Anybody that personally knows me knows I would never half *ss anything like above if it were visible....my OCD wouldn't let that happen!

Gave it a good try to bring my front and rear windshield trim back to life using Mothers Mag & Aluminum Polish. I think it could have been better with more than just good ol fashion elbow grease. Thoughts and suggestions appreciated.

Try using the Mother's power ball chucked in the drill. You can sand out fine scratches in the trim and then use progressively finer grits of sand paper up to say 1000 and then polish. Google 'polish window trim'.

Got it to idle a little better after playing with it.

One thing I that has always been true for me is that a Q-Jet will start and run even after sitting for years.

You can't do that with a Holley.
