454 is in. It's ugly. But it's in. This is the "good enough i wanna drive my car for now" setup. better go fast parts in spring time. Headers are an issue of course but super cheaper flex plate from summit was a huge success! I'll cut and re-tig the headers into a configuration they'll work tomorrow. Friday next day I can get at it, should be running and burnin tires by the weekend! Productive day!

Edit: happy to claim page 700 with this 🙂

Almost traded my car and both my Buick 350s for a '70 Dodge Charger. If the car at least had a dash and a steering column, I would've. But it's literally just a shell, and may or may not have been an "official" General Lee. https://springfield.craigslist.org/cto/d/1970-dodge-charger/6294411183.html
Correct link now. Lol.

Do you mean this is what's left of one of the junkers that they would use for the jump scenes? Smart move to pass. Anyone interested in one of those should check the frames out real well first.

Kept running up the odometer. We drove it to a dealership to drop off Natasha's Colorado - people didn't know what to make of it. I had some lady stopped dead in her tracks and staring at a gas station on the way back (the car was just chopping away...); and had a nice conversation with another lady while paying. Come to think of it the attendant was a little perplexed too.

Perhaps the crowning moment was us yelling over the car at the Tim Hortons drive thru window. Unfortunately I had to shut it off so Natasha could get her coffee and bagel.

No, the car's a bit too straight for that. It's literally just a shell, that's the majority of the reason I passed. No dash, no column, no front clip. And the car at one time was painted up like a GL, but it's a 70 so I assume it was just a half assed clone. And it was still rusty. I'd rather spend double the "$4,000 obo" in cash and get the cleanest car I can. There's plenty of them out there. People are scared of these cars, once they figure out a dash is $2,000 and up. These cars are just plain expensive.
