Yeah, those are the frame mounts for the 3.8. They're also in the correct spot for a Buick 350 as well. There's not a big market for these, other than weirdos like me with Buick small blocks or maybe the GN crowd. I'd hang onto em.Sold the 3.8 that came in my regal today...
Was curious about what the actual name of this part is. Since when I google 3.8 motor mounts this isn't what comes up. Didn't know where to post this and didn't want to make a thread just for this. Was gonna include it with the engine but the guy didnt want them.

would they also work for a buick 455?Yeah, those are the frame mounts for the 3.8. They're also in the correct spot for a Buick 350 as well. There's not a big market for these, other than weirdos like me with Buick small blocks or maybe the GN crowd. I'd hang onto em.
Eh, maybe. I've heard though that you basically have to cut and weld your own frame mounts to make a 455 fit properly.would they also work for a buick 455?

Not like make them from scratch, but attach them to the engine, and set it down and see where the mounts end up, and burn em in. The 455 is wider and longer than a 350, and definitely a 231.would they also work for a buick 455?

We must be related. That's my kind of move.Took a 40 minute drive to my son's place to take care of the animals for the weekend. On a 2 lane highway there was 3 cars and a transport truck in front. I hate when the 1st guy/gal won't pass the truck that is barely doing the 50 mph speed limit. What I do like is my GP was doing over 100 mph by the time I passed the 3 cars and pulled up beside the transport truck and the GP was still pulling hard....🙂
Yeah it is 😀!!!!We must be related. That's my kind of move.
