You guys didn't see anything Scott. I was very subdued driving you guys around. You have to imagine the GMC shifting out of 2nd at 6k RPM at 80.

I made contact with the guy I bought my Monte from tonight. Sent him over a handful of pictures to show its progress.
Its been 7 years ( almost to the day ) and 10K + since. In that time there has been a motor swap, 2 transmissions, brakes all around, suspension, exhaust, and etc later and the car still looks pretty much the same. What an odd hobby but still cheaper than golf ! 🙂

I went to the wrecking yard and found me a nice vacuum line set up for the brake booster. I gave up trying to find a new one. All the stores tried to sell me a fuel line which should not be used for the vacuum hose on the brakes. Fuel line is fabricated not to expand but it can collapse when used for the brake vacuum hose. The brake vacuum hose is designed not to collapse

I have 3.08 gears, I think me t5 wc gear ratio is close to Scott's transmission. I have my rev limiter set at 5500 and I left in 3rd passing these guys. I like the 3.08 for the long gears it gives me

Steve, that's what Jared's Sierra is running. I'd hate to see my Cutlass at 80 in 2nd gear with the current TH350 and 3.73's out back!!!! Once the LS and 4L80 goes in I might drop the gears down numerically to ease highway driving!

Ah I had my 9C1 I sold it before I even got a chance to touch it.

I want a 4 doooor for a daily, but just can't do it with the way the rear windows are.

But I saved and used in my Malibu the one good thing in it before flipping it.
