What did you do to your G-Body today? [2011-2018]

Back here in Iowa. We got six inches of snow yesterday and it is -4 out right now with the low -14. Was 50 a week ago! I would gladly take 20*. I would like to move too, but my wife said no.

Mother is still in Iowa, she'll never leave.

There are times I think about moving back, but it's been so long, nothing is really as I remember it....and the wife is an Okie with deep roots here.

I decided to brave the cold(not near as cold as you northerners) and put some more oil in the LS, snugged down the valve covers which still need paint but too cold to paint, an taped off all the ports.

I’m trying to work on getting my power locks to work. I have a new door actuator plugged in. The problem is I can’t remember how the rods hook up to switch. Anyone out there got picture of how the rods attach to the lock etc? Thanks in advance for the help. My car is a 1987 olds 442.

did you paint your intake or is it plastic? if it is plastic, who makes it?

Joe, it's actually the Holley Mid Rise unit which is a 3 piece cast aluminum design. The other two parts are in boxes, I was using the base to block off ports. Also, it came black ceramic coated.

Actually, the intake is a modular design which would make it possible to run two 4bbl throttle bodies if I wanted. However, going turbo it will be less work running the cold side piping up to one 92mm throttle body instead.

Nothin. Too damn cold. But it ain't getting warmer. Still aiming for a sunday night (new years) installation and shakedown, then tuesday new tires on the rear.

I got out of Dodge while the snow was falling yesterday.
While I was back I fired up the electric heater in the garage.
It was -1 outside and 20F inside. Within 3 hours it was 62 F inside, but the concrete was so cold it wasn't really too comfortable.
I did look at my car, moved some parts around............shut off the heat and turned out the lights.............
