Finally ordered the LED Demon Eye Headlights I have been looking at for probably over a year, maybe this will give me the motivation to get back into the other lighting issues

Consider pulling apart the old starter and maybe rebuilding it. Can't hurt to have a spare. I don't remember how much the parts to rebuild one are, but it's gotta be cheaper than a new one. Plus never hurts to learn a new skill.
Already returned the old one for the core charge, next time I get my hands on a starter tho I'll take your advice, thanks man

You can get junk starters for basically free. Don't have to if you don't want to, but it is a good skill to learn. Same with alternators, any electric motor really.

trying to close on a house so I can finally get my car out of a "shop" that it has been in for over a year for a damn paint job. smh. I can't even talk to the dude anymore for fear that I'll be in prison shortly thereafter.

I'd like to see a write-up on that installation. With pictures. Fuel lines? Tank mods?

I’ll be doing a tank swap write up on my build soon. Parts just showed up today.

Greased the front end and changed the oil. This was only because I was out in the shop anyway repairing the lower radiator hose that blew off last night. Luckily I was only two miles from home. It's been like -4*F here and all of a sudden the heater started blowing cold air. Then the temp gauge started climbing. At this point I didn't know the problem. So rather than try to diagnose on the side of the road in two feet of snow in negative temps, I hustled the car home before it got over 250 degrees. After shutting it off, I found the problem.

No damage done. 😉

I had a thermostat quit and spring shut in the middle of a July traffic jam. Barfed cololant out via the pressure relief in the radiator cap before I blew a hose. An old-timer pulled over and advised me to take the outlet off, pull the T-stat and put it back on to get home. It leaked a bit without a gasket, but I got home. Glad no harm was done to yours.
