Ok guys, thanks for all the positive feedback. I have never tried this before but it turned out really well.
Basically, it's just a sticker. My brother is friends with a local sign shop and got the material for me.
Jared, all I did was remove the Allen head buttons and vents to give me an even surface. I lined up the sticker and applied it slowly and evenly so as not to trap air bubbles. Then I used this flat squeegee looking tool to firmly lay the sticker on the bezel. Next was probably the easiest part. Using an x-acto knife, I trimmed everything. I just held the knife at a 45 degree angle and made my cuts. The hardest part of the whole deal was getting the vents out without breaking the tabs. timo22

View attachment 80167 View attachment 80168 Got my dash bezel for the bonneville all wrapped up. The wood grain had to go. At first I was thinking turn motor, then brushed silver and finally put this on..What do you guys think? timo22
I'm just envious pontiac got the cool dash. Olds and Chevy close 2nd and 3rd respectively. And Buick in the back (save for the GNX) with all the other D students.

I think I was just low on brake fluid. I haven't noticed a loss since I topped it off. But I think it's a lil too early to know for sure.
Edit: Didn't do much. Drove to my mom's and had home made fried chicken, taters n gravy and corn.

Pulled a 2.73 gear set and Auburn posi from a 97 T/a at the junkyard---$22!!! I know 2.73's aren't hot rod enough for some, but gotta be better than the 2.29's back there now.

2.73's are a good start. if your running a three speed auto and stock motor, that would be perfect for a street cruiser.

My 87 Monte SS is currently sitting in storage until the snow melts. But I plan on fixing the minor wiring issue that's been draining the battery since I got it soon. And maybe putting electric fans on.

Got me a few LED's delivered today for rear lighting. I still need to get some turn/brake bulbs, but those get installed after the taillight housings are bolted on.View attachment 80170

Love seeing LED's used, amazing what a difference they make in appearance to me

Certainly! When done, all of the lighting will be LED. I already have them in my gauge cluster, as well as the LED 3rd brake light upgrade which is bright as hell!!!!
I plan on running the amber/white switchbacks for the front turn signals. I'm undecided on headlight upgrades as my Cutlass has the Euro clip with composite assemblies. Time will tell if I upgrade those.
Btw, the demon eyes you put in the Monte are badass looking!

That is what I did as well once I iron out the replacement DRL/front turn signals so they function correctly, switchbacks are awesome. I had them on my Edge, when I was having headlight problems they were almost bright enough to function as headlights. I would like to install a 3rd brake light on my car just haven't got around to that yet but I would def do the LED upgrade. Depending on the bulbs your Euro clip uses you could still use the demon eye to light the housing when not driving and have LED headlights. Much appreciated

Or lots of boost. The lower numerical gears are beefier too.
