I’ve had over 40 cars in the past 42 years. Never done a frame off..That changed today. Out of all of those cars and I’m doing an 82 Bonneville? I obviously have lost my mind !
I just wanted to do a SBC conversion. I needed to switch the fuel and emission lines to the other sides and put a brake line from the combo valve to the rear axle. This project mushroomed quickly..

Got bored earlier today, and installed a spare set of bezels I had kickin around. Some of you may recall, last october I scored a GN rear and a whole bunch of stuff from a guy on FB for the princely sum of $1080. Included in that haul were a set of f41 sway bars, assocoated brackets, new hood emblem, hood shocks, etc. And a pair of driver quality headlight bezels. Mine were faded, and the driver's one got ripped off the car a few years ago. The car looks a lot better, but it still needs a header panel, bumper, bumper fillers, and lower marker lights plus their respective trim.
Oh, also I need a new bulb.

It’s actually sturdier than it looks. Me and my buddy did it on lunch and then he had to leave. We’re going to lower it in the morning. The best part is I don’t really have any rust issues on the rockers or pan. It had a 3.8 that really lubricated the body. The floor pans are still black paint. I’ll knock the surface rust off the inner rockers, spray some derust and undercoat. The frame , however, will need a little mount repair..timo22
