started working on stripping the parts car today, (frame, floors, trunk, quarters, doors and lower a pillers all rotted) pulled all the lights and trim off the rear that was good, gutted the interior other than the busted dash then pulled the front header and bumper off. still have to pull the hood and some things in the engine bay then its going to a guy that wants the roof since its surprisingly in good shape. i did find a build sheet when pulling the door panels that was in great shape.

Changed out the OEM master cylinder with a new (not a reman) one.
Whoever designed the rear wheel cyl/backing plate arrangement needs a swift kick in the 'nads.
Why would you recess a bleeder screw so you can only use a socket on it?
Looked for speed bleeders but no one local had them in stock on the weekend.
Got to the bleeding part and had no pressure to the rear lines, spent waaay too much time figuring out why...
Dang combination valve had tripped, luckily the one in the car was re-settable by pushing on the plunger in the front of it.
May still have a pesky leak on the front port connection, machining on the "new" part is a little suspect.
But, now have a pedal that doesn't slowly sink to the floor when at a stop, could see it had been leaking by the rear seal.

Crimped ends on my 1 gauge battery cable so I can run a trunk mount battery. Bead blasted my clutch linkage. Taking it to work tomorrow to Tig the holes back round instead of oval LOL

Sweet! Glad it made it to you in good shape! I see the balloons also went undamaged lol
as did the other materials! 😆 I did get a good laugh out of it, but they were really effective, and I would've never thought to use them like that!
