Took the alternator bracket off to clean the years of dirt off it

After that I was annoyed with all that casting marks and flaws in it

So i did this to it.

Not sure yet how I feel about it

Hmm... couple of things.

Dropped the nitrous bottle off for recertification and refill on Thursday. Still going to have to suffer through wiring it all up.

The first of my China parts showed up - the silicone air hose. So I get to install that soon enough.

And I put away the GD wood working tools surrounding the wagon and blocking it in. Might actually get to drive it this week.

I got kicked in the dick by my car. Put brand new carpet in. After a few hours of doing that I get to the part where I get to put the other matching bucket seats in.......damn seat brackets don't line up with the floor studs......now I have to put the blue seats back in. Just wanna cry😐

Did some more sanding but it was way too swampy and humid to stay out in the shop all day. Got the entire roof done. Any progress is good progress.. lol. Spent the rest of the day helping my old man fix his John Deere 318 in his much nicer shaded garage.

I swapped in a 1990 Chevy Caprice master cylinder. Much harder pedal and much better stopping power.

what brake package are you running? stock, blazer, ls1, vette, rear disc?

also, i see a single extension spring going to your carb, if is a throttle return spring, please upgrade to a double spring for safety.
