Thanks I used matrix base with matrix ms 42 clear. I just couldn’t justify the ppg. The ms 42 had really good reviews.

Shes getting there

Finally got the 12 foot length of copper tubing in the mail so I could hook up the oil pressure gauge.

Took about 7 feet to plumb it.

Also removed the smog tubes. I was amazed how easy they came out and what great shape they are in.

They must be worth 300 buxx on ebay and 500 craigs list

Got the oil changed after a 100 mile road trip. Even got a nice surprise with 16.5mpg instead of the usual 15.

Stripped and repainted my trunk lid satin black to match my hood.

Drove around a bit, guy told me taillghts werent working. Fumbled around, found this ground tab had no screw in it and was just kinda wibblin around in there. Also, the driver's 1/4 was replaced at one point. When I bought the car I was told the car was hit by a snowplow at some point (in a parking lot), and I know the driver's side was repainted, either because of that, or some other thing that happened. I need to address that rust before it gets any worse. You can see where they cut out the spot welds, the passenger side looks just like two panels overlapping, no bent swiss bs. I fixed the taillights, then my brake lights wouldn't work. After fumbling around under the dash, the fuse was burnt up. Swapped in the choke fuse to get me to the parts store, bought a pack of 20 amp fuses and shoved em in and all is well.

Also also, I picked up my driveshaft today. Guy was behind, so he knocked ~50 bucks off. Was $370, walked out paying $325. Hopefully will have the rear, 2500 stall, and shaft in this weekend. Hopefully.

Just a reminder that the Cruise To The Woods is the first Sunday of October. Hope to see you there.

Lose the Scotchloks
Yeah, it's one of those things i haven't gotten around to. At some point there was a 3rd brake light from the 90s (looked like a radioshack deal) wired in line with the lights the wrong way.
