Picked this 8.5 up. Gonna clean it up and paint it. And thanks the oils rear end out. Does any one know if I have to use a different drive shaft?
If you're going from a 7.5 to 8.5, you just need to have a driveshaft shop chop 1" off and rebalance it. What trans are you running and where you located? I have the driveshaft from my 8.5" swap that I would sell for extremely fair, but not gonna ship it.

I go out this morning and the GP had a no start issue. I didn't sound like it was firing so I checked to see if there was spark at the coil. No spark but the wire was live so I grabbed the Jeep and saw some blank stares at Auto part stores when I asked for an ignition coil canister style. None of them heard of a canister style coil so I thought I must be at the wrong store so I asked for a burger and fries. They knew what that was at least. Anyway got one at Napa and installed it. It fired up and then I realised I did not connect the tach wire. So I wired up the MSD SS coil without the tach wire and it fired up. I put the tach wire on and it killed the coil. I don't like driving a stick without a tach and luckily my MSD distributor has a tach lead so the tach works fine. I have F idea why the wiring that worked for many years decided to create problems

I have a turbo 350. I’m in Toledo ohio

Swapped out my mineral based PS fluid for a synthetic PS fluid and installed a 17- 1/2" De Rale 2 pass Frame Mount power steering cooler with -6AN fittings in efforts to reduce my PS fluid temperatures with my HydroBoost install. Installed it on the lower rad support behind grill where it will get some air flow.
Pics to follow. Will take it out for a cruise and shake down drive tomorrow.

It would definitely work as I had a TH350 as well. Toledo is a good clip from Louisville...like 4-5 hours. Not sure if even meeting halfway would be cost effective for either of us.
Scott,
Sending it out on Greyhound might be an option.

put a dei fiberglass wire wrap around the wire on the wire for my coolant temp sensor as i melted the loom onto the header this morning, once it gets cooled back down i'm going to put my fibrwrap spark plug boot things on. i love going out for a hour cruise in the morning, cool morning air is a hot running small blocks best friend.
