Glad to see you moving forward man. What size are you planning for the front?

The fronts are 17x7 with 4" BS and will run a 225/50ZR17. This will keep the tire height at 26", but I foresee lowering the car more. It's dropped 1" currently, but almost looks stock due to new poly body bushings.

Supported the axles to take the load off the tires. D**mn, I miss driving it.

Lmao Turna!!!!! So, yep I had tires mounted on the back wheels earlier. I then rushed home like Ralphie waiting to hear the code phrase on the radio so I could put em on. I might end up using a thin spacer(i know i know), but they clear for now.
It's raining in KY, so these are the best pics I was getting today. When I get the front tires next week I will roll it out for better pics.

Nope, it's an 8.5 from a H/O...it just has an 8.2 cover on it. I once thought the thick clear diff covers were cool, until it leaked like a sieve!
It will get beefed up with new axles, gears, and locker at some point.

Finally put some new speedo gears in. 45/17 combo is the ticket for 3.42s and 26" tires. Right on the money. Downside, now I have to figure out how to make it downshift at a higher rpm. before it would do it at 45mph, now it won't downshift from 3-2 above 35mph.
Also, USPS is f*ckin me around again. Ordered marker lights from GBP on Monday, got to the Des Moines Dist. Center Wednesday at 3:55, still don't f*ckin have em. Same with a dipstick I ordered from TA Performance. I really hate USPS. There was even THREE TRUCKS within a block of my house, one was outside of my house! This is getting ridiculous. At this rate I won't be getting my sh*t until 2019.

got my warranty'd transmission back today.i inquired the builder about what actually happened to it but he hasn't responded,I'll try again next week. I'd just like to know what broke and how can i avoid it from happening again
i also went by the machine shop,showed me what happened the limited slip.it's the strangest thing,in one half it looks great,ring/pinion,bearings,the spider gears,perfect shape no signs of wear.the other side no so much.he doesn't know what took place.it'd still make a very nice open diff,if that's what i was looking for,it isn't..
any who,i supplied him with the wrong size carrier bearings they were off by seventy thousandths so he's awaiting the rite ones to finish up the new center section.we talked about the oil pressure issue with my short block.I'm gonna try and drop it off next week.

Got word late yesterday that my front tires are already in....they weren't expected until next Wednesday or so. That being said, I'm about to load up front wheels and take an early Saturday cruise. Hopefully I'll be able to put them on later.
