Fixed (?) the fuel leak in the wagon, packed the tools and supplies (including the extra bottle) for the track, gave the car a once over (including the settings on the nitrous controller (WOT switch and 4000rpm set point) and 3rd gear lock up for the torque converter at 100mph), and tested the purge.

Leaving at 0730hrs tomorrow.

Go or blow time.
The new build dilemma. Get some Mike!

Nothing picture worthy, mounted the A/C vent delete cover for passenger side. Did a bunch of wire maintenance/crimping connectors to have it to the point of being able to put the carpet in next time I go at it with the mechanics help.

Nope. Link me, bruh!
I found yesterday's video amusing.....
To say that he is very budget oriented is an understatement. I'm one of the madmen that replaces head bolts and gaskets.

This one will horrify guys like me....

In a nutshell, his formula is go get a complete engine out of the junkyard, put a cam in and a turbo on it and go. Do it on an extreme budget and have fun.

Also, I hope the drag racing weekend is fun.

Probably. Believe it or not, I haven't really watched any Sloppy Mechanics. I'm a madman that likes new stuff.

Dont watch it! That's a rabbit hole you can climb out of!

But seriously, he spent a couple years putting all the myths and conjecture to the test on the dyno and the street. He's honest and shows exactly how he does stuff. Its a pretty big wake up, as I was once a "Do it Right" guy myself. You can really learn what corners can be cut and where to save a buck.

Richard Holdender on Facebook is another one, hes a legit professional guy that tests out stuff on the dyno.
