i had that trans leak. i think i finally figured out where the leak was after i replaced the transmission gasket a couple times. i replaced the lines a couple weeks a go with the braided ones. decided to drop the pan and use the moroso gasket. i bought a new tv cable . and removed the tv cable from the trans and there was no top hat gasket. i am guess it leaked when the car was started dont know. i installed the new gasket and top hat gasket and the tv cable. filled the trans back up. got the car running and so far 5 hours later no leak.

Not very exciting but I replaced my dying starter with one off the shelf off of my old race motor.

Still driving it with only putting gas in it, fingers crossed/ blinders on/ head in the sand for everything else.

today it got fresh 2019 fuel and a rinse off. Son has not got his license yet but he wants me to drive both he and his girlfriend to his HS Prom. On the side ( away from moms ) he wants me to let him drive the car the last bit thru the parking lot and I grab the car at the front like a valet ROFL.
So he's been enlisted in the spring " clean and scrub" crew to get it ship shape :)

Thought I had a rod knock so I took the engine apart. Found a broken weld for the windage tray that was hitting the crank. It’s going to the machine shop tomorrow to get checked out.

Nice! My Dad made me help him fix his T-type so I could take it to Senior Formal. I enlisted my best friend to help hang the doors, who coincidently was also my date. We spent most of the night driving that car around the GTA and not at the event.

Best you hold onto those keys.
