Continued the neverending battle with my exhaust. Since I put the Jones resonator in, I noticed that the Borla had fallen (twisted) and was hanging really low. Had it perfect yesterday, then, today, it was banging around again. So, I wanted to lose another band clamp for a traditional U, threw the old Fleming Torque Wrench at it and it snapped. It did get tight enough to dent the pipe, though. I threw a new band clamp around it and crossed my fingers. Also, rerouted the fuel lines so they're not directly above the exhaust. I wasn't worried since it's been cold, but I didn't feel comfortable with sitting in traffic on a 90 degree day.

When you need to do some tuning, but don't want to crash the car looking at a laptop in the passenger seat. IMG_20190503_223456.jpg

15" monitor with legs that fit perfectly undr the seat. Makes looking at the gauges a lot less awful.

Unfortunately don't have any pics to share, but I worked on rebuilding my 383 with a buddy of mine yesterday. Got all the main journals and bearings measured with my micrometers and bore gauge. Also used some plastigauge to double check. Everything looks good so far; .002 clearance on #1-4 and .003 on #5 main bearings, end play is .006. just need to clean everything real well with some long brushes and then I can start reassembling it. :)
