What did you do to your G-Body today? [2019]

I hear you about the kids. My kids don't go to sleep before 11 so I work after horse chores about a hour a day( or hide from them). I think I would support them. I think the vibration from driving will crack your fittings.
About the same, trying to get these stubborn girls to lay down now lol! I try to give myself an hour each night, sometimes more sometimes less. I might look into something for the filters but for now they'll be fine.

I adjusted the ignition timing settings on my Sniper. They were a little wacky. I think I know what is going on now that I thought about it. I need to tailer the self learn setting back. Beings most of the time you are not into boost while driving. So I think the computer has added timing. I let it run for a while why I picked up some. I really like the way my new exhaust sounds. Pretty quiet with a slight rumble. Now I need to drive it!

Such a good looking car!

Thank you! It is a twenty footer though. After my kids grow up I will fix the left quarter right and repaint it.
A running/driving/fun twenty-footer, which is pretty cool. My car is far, far from perfect. I just need to get it going.

Had a talk with the transmission shop today.

Little lesson learned for me, make damn sure you have the correct pump for your 4L80e. Burned out the direct, overdrive and planetary.

So a stock refresh will only be a couple hundred less than a fully billet internal race build....

Cowabunga it is.

I've alluded to getting some color matched touch up paint, and tonight I brought out the inner artist. Here in KY we can sorta customize historic plates as long as we keep one plate under a floor mat in original condition (words from the local pd).
That being said I stripped the paint from one, sprayed the whole thing metallic aluminum, and VERY CAREFULLY brushed the letters with the exact match touch up paint. I'll likely go over it again, then clear it, but it's looking good!

Got a big yellow box, bought some new hardware,

Took out some bolts and shed some spare weight,

and got rained on... try again tomorrow.
Despite all six bolts that hold the bumper shocks to the frame being removed, the rear bumper is still holding on. Time to research. Curious if those two bolts on the frame rails hold the shocks in also.
