Swapped to an ‘85 model power brake booster (for valve cover clearance with the 500). Ground the notch on the column for the Astro van steering shaft (still need to clock it 90 degrees). Finished the engine to frame mounts. Ordered plain steel valve covers to cut, flip, and weld which will clear both the A/C box and roller rockers.

Got to say I am pretty happy with the way the console turned out and the other pieces, now I have a week to get the car done for the car show:doh:

How’s the fit on that? I was gonna make one in the style of stock cutlass console but more modernish. Then I started looking at the camaro console but I would like to get the gauges to work as well.

Not my setup but someone else ran the console and the seats

I had wanted to get the gauges working as well originally when I was figuring out the Dakota Digital setup, but figured once I got the EFI Sniper that I really had all the gauges I needed

keeping air in the passenger rear tire. it's been plugged twice, not enough tread left to bother with a patch. tires are junk after winter anyway. It still runs, so it's gonna stay together to be movable until i rebuild that 454. still putting together a rudimentary parts list. my work does a week and a half shutdown during christmas and 4th of july for maintenence, so that time this july I'll take advantage of. Hopefully I can get the 454 jammed in, broke in, and running. Might even get the regal back running too. if so, the suburban will probably just sit around after drive it for a week or two to determine it's general reliability and haul some junk to the dump with it until winter hits. I want to put a tach dash, dual battery setup, and a winch on it at some point. At the very least the tach dash upgrade, when i replace the dash pad and speakers.

My 9 year old battery finally gave up the ghost. Veterans discount and 3 year warranty. The battery tray had a coating or rust so I cleaned it up and painted it.

The nose was looking kind of boring and plain to me so I picked this up to see if it would pop just enough to break it up.

Like an asshat i put it on slightly crooked
